1. Information We Collect
The Medcon app, website, and support portals ('Service', 'We') collect personal data that you provide during conference registration, ticket purchases, or account setup. This data includes your Full Name, Medical License Number, Practice Specialty, Institution/Hospital Address, Email Address, and Phone Number. We also track device-specific technical logs to ensure security conformance and combat ticketing fraud.
2. How We Use Information
Your data is used specifically to issue legitimate event accreditation passes, process payments securely through certified gateway partners, log and award Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits, and send timing bulletins. We also share basic name information with regulatory accreditation bodies to validate your presence at official credit-bearing events.
3. Data Security and Custody
All personal identifiers and licensing credentials are encrypted both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256 in our secured environments, including our database clusters on Firestore). Payment parameters are encrypted directly via PCI-DSS compliant providers; we do not store full credit card tokens on our machines.
4. Your Rights under GDPR / CCPA
You have full ownership of your data. You may review, download, modify, or permanently erase your profile and records at any point inside the Medcon mobile applications or by initiating a secure inquiry via our Official Support Page.
